I am a landscape painter, working in acrylics and oil, mostly on canvas or birch board. My paintings  are gestural and spontaneous with loose brushstrokes creating a sense of movement. I am particularly interested in the  way sunlight falls through the trees painting the landscape with scattered shadows, marking the passing of time. The paintings are my personal response to my surroundings, not in grand places, but in the every-day, a process of quiet noticing.  Prices start from £150.00

 

I live by the sea in West Sussex and recently graduated from the University of Chichester with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art.  I will be completing my MFA at West Dean in July 2026.
